Motorsport
ES Motorsport operates a professional Motor Racing Team which has been competing in several Series and Championships since 2009. We pride ourselves on our high standard of preparation, which has brought us a great deal of success on the track.
We began racing in the Lotus on Track Elise Trophy Series, quickly expanding to include Lotus Cup Europe and Lotus Cup UK. In 2013 ES Motorsport driver Thomas Dehaibe won the Lotus Cup Europe championship in its inaugural season as an FIA International Series.
The following season we ran a car for former Lotus F1 driver Martin Donnelly and his son Stefan in Lotus Cup UK. Martin returned to race the car in Lotus Cup Europe in 2017, the year in which ES Motorsport driver Jason McInulty was crowned Production class champion, with fellow ES Motorsport competitor Sven Pettersson as runner-up.
In 2018 ES Motorsport two of our drivers were crowned Class Champions in Lotus Cup Europe. McInulty completed a successful graduation to the V6 Cup class, taking outright race victories at Spa-Francorchamps and Silverstone, whilst Pettersson lifted the Production class title, and Andrew Wright claimed the Open Class Championship.
In 2019 ES Motorsport supported multiple cars again in Lotus Cup Europe, we were crowned Production Champions again with our Swedish driver Sven Pettersson, this time another ES driver Mark Yates was runner up. ES Motorsport had regular Production Class podium lockouts. Our drivers also took wins and podiums in the other classes V6 and 2-11.
2020 and 2021 were testing times for everyone, we still managed to comptet in all the Lotus Cup Europe and MSVR Elise Trophy rounds.
2020 we were crowned UK champions with our driver Matthias Radestock. In 2021 we were again crowned UK chamions with Jason Mcinulty. Both were driving the latest Elise, the Cup R.
Although we have extensive experience in Lotus racing, our focus on high standards of professionalism has also extended to campaigns in the MINI CHALLENGE and 750 MC Club Enduro series.
We offer a complete professional team service, from the preparation and operation of the racing cars through to team management and logistics required for season-long campaigns. We pride ourselves on providing the highest level of service and engineering excellence, and this attention to detail extends to maximising driver performance at all levels and abilities.
Our racing expertise also extends to first-class trackday support, including car hire.
Away from the race track we prepare, service and rebuild racing cars. Our extensive experience both trackside and at our workshop, which includes an extensive warehouse of parts, translates to best-in-class track day and performance road car maintenance. Our workshop also has engineering, fabrication and engine-building facilities available to competition, track day, and road car customers.
